Through The Good Neighbor fund, recipients in our community are provided a one-time grant to fund basic needs when a unique, unforeseen event that threatens their stability.
A recent recipient of this gift is a senior resident who has been calling Upper Arlington home since the 70’s. When he recently experienced a stroke, new medical bills forced him behind on rent. After one of our partners alerted us of this need, we were able to help thanks to the donors of The Good Neighbor Fund. With the gift we provided, we were able to offer the support he needed to remain in his home in Upper Arlington.
Although many families live above the poverty line in Upper Arlington, there are often unforeseeable circumstances that plunge our residents into situations that they cannot handle alone.. The following note we received from our recent recipient showcases just how life changing this gift can be.
